چکیده

In ecology, the refuge protection of prey plays a significant role in dynamics interactions between and predator. this paper, we investigate non-smooth prey–predator mathematical model characterized by density-dependent intermittent prey. The assumes population density predator as an index for to decide on when avail or discontinue protection, representing level apprehension predators. We apply Filippov’s regularization approach study obtain sliding segment system. criterion existence regular virtual equilibria, boundary equilibrium, tangent points, pseudo-equilibria Filippov conditions visibility (or invisibility) points are derived. equilibrium bifurcation, boundary-node bifurcation pseudo-saddle-node bifurcation. Further, examine effects dispersal delay system associated with vigilance identifying density. observe that hysteresis produces stable limit cycles around threshold some bounded region phase plane. Moreover, find play their refuge-dispersion dynamics.

Community-driven dispersal in an individual-based predator-prey model

We present a spatial, individual-based predator-prey model in which dispersal is dependent on the local community. We determine species suitability to the biotic conditions of their local environment through a time and space varying fitness measure. Dispersal of individuals to nearby communities occurs whenever their fitness falls below a predefined tolerance threshold. The spatiotemporal dynam...

Competition and dispersal in predator-prey waves.

Dispersing predators and prey can exhibit complex spatio-temporal wave-like patterns if the interactions between them cause oscillatory dynamics. We study the effect of these predator-prey density waves on the competition between prey populations and between predator populations with different dispersal strategies. We first describe 1- and 2-dimensional simulations of both discrete and continuo...

Chemotactic predator-prey dynamics.

A discrete chemotactic predator-prey model is proposed in which the prey secrets a diffusing chemical which is sensed by the predator and vice versa. Two dynamical states corresponding to catching and escaping are identified and it is shown that steady hunting is unstable. For the escape process, the predator-prey distance is diffusive for short times but exhibits a transient subdiffusive behav...

Predator-prey dynamics in models of prey dispersal in two-patch environments.

Models are presented for a single species that disperses between two patches of a heterogeneous environment with barriers between patches and a predator for which the dispersal between patches does not involve a barrier. Conditions are established for the existence, uniform persistence, and local and global stability of positive steady states. In particular, an example that demonstrates both th...

Computational Complex Predator-prey Dynamics

Two species predator-prey with stage structure of mature and immature mathematical models are studied over the last few decades. Xin-an Zhang et al studied a mathematical model with stage structure of two species in 2010. In this article, an attempt has been made to comprehend the coupled predator-prey dynamics with mature-immature stage structure and compare the dynamics with the existing mode...
